Acting & Vocal Summer Camp6/17–6/21  Course#:  19528  Fee:$302R/$426NR
Intensive singing and acting workshop with musical theatre performance emphasis. Daily technique classes in voice and acting designed to challenge all skill levels. Learn a diverse array of techniques, theory, and vocabulary while exploring song selections for soloists, small groups and ensembles, and dramatic monologues and scene studies. Participants are expected to follow musical scores and scripts from Broadway musicals, plays, short stories, Shakespeare, and additional provided material. Due to the fast-paced nature of this workshop and the complicated scheduling, full attendance is required. Partial attendance will not be permitted, and sessions cannot be made up. Each participant is required to participate in the showcase performance on the final day of session. Parents, guardians, and family are invited. Previous experience is recommended.

Stage Craft Camp6/24–6/28  Course#:19529  Fee:$302R/$426NR
Hands-on, interactive, tactile workshop in technical theatre/stage craft. Learn how to use lighting for special effects, digital sound arts, conceptualize a set design based on provided scripts, build small scale dioramas, learn stage make-up, and costume design. Workshop is in a classroom setting and does not allow for large scale building or woodworking on a stage or in a theatre. Participants will be expected to work individually and with others, be able to keep focused and learn in a class type setting, use fine motor-skills, participate in group discussions, and use different types of mediums. Due to the fast-paced nature of this workshop and large range of information covered, full attendance is required. Partial attendance will not be permitted. Workshop concludes with a required student gallery and presentation. Previous experience is recommended.

Dance Camp7/29–8/9  Course#:19530  Fee:$594R/$862NR
Intensive 2-wk performance based workshop to challenge dancers from all techniques and backgrounds. Embrace different styles and techniques including classical ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, ballroom, hula, musical theatre and more! Must be able to endure multiple classes a day, lasting minimum 1-2 hrs. Must be able to follow fast-paced choreography, work in pairs/groups, and be willing to explore different genres and create original choreography in an ensemble All classes will be taught by experienced professionals and master teachers. Due to the fast-paced nature of this workshop and complicated scheduling of master classes, and choreography, full attendance is required. Partial attendance will not be permitted. Participation in final performance is required. Minimum one year of dance training or equivalent experience required.
