Our Funding is Threatened

Since 1984, Young People’s Teen Musical Theater Company (YPTMTC) has provided superlative musical theater training to Bay Area teens, free of charge, through the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department. Founded by the late Diane Price and continued by her successor, Nicola Bosco- Alvarez, YPTMTC has meaningfully touched the lives of thousands of young people, regardless of their financial situation.

Regrettably, that legacy is threatened.

Beginning this Fall, the Recreation and Parks Department is implementing a significant tuition fee that will limit who is able to participate in the program. Our nonprofit, Friends of The Company (FOTC), has committed to cover this fee for all participants so that YPTMTC can remain free, but we cannot do it alone.

We ask that you please consider making a tax deductible gift to FOTC today to help us ensure that this beloved program remains accessible.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and for helping to keep the performing arts alive for young people across the Bay Area.
