Fiddler on the Roof, set in the Pale of Imperial Russia in 1905, is based on Tevye and his Daughters (or Tevye the Dairyman) and other tales by Sholem Aleichem. The story centers on Tevye, the father of five daughters, and his attempts to maintain his family and Jewish religious traditions while outside influences encroach upon their lives.
Rehearsals
Begin October 15, 2014 @ Harvey Milk Center
Wed, Fri 4-7 p.m. & Sat 12-5 p.m.
Performance Dates:
Jan 30, 31 & Feb 1, 6, 7, 8, 2015
Cost: FREE!
To Audition:
- Prepare a song to sing and bring the sheet music for the accompanist (provided)
- Prepare a monologue no more than 2 minutes long.
- Be prepared to dance
- Bring headshot and resume if available
