Join instructor Barbara Pollak-Lewis for this FREE and FUN hands-on virtual workshop which will take you step by step through several small, easy projects we can make together.
Space is limited to 10 participants. Free supplies for this workshop are available for pickup at The Mix at SFPL during open hours starting Thursday, 2/3. Please register for the workshop before picking up supplies. The Mix is located inside the Main Library, 100 Larkin Street (at Grove), San Francisco.

Come have fun in this drawing class focusing on doodle art! Here you get to explore working with pattern, inventing simple cartoon-inspired creatures, and using visual information from real life to build elaborate, detailed drawings. We will talk about the elements of art such as line, shape, and value and we’ll learn about creating illusions with pencil. Where do the teens go after learning how to model, rig, and animate in Blender? Advanced Animation Workshop. We go over what teens are creating and all work together to help each other out. We finesse building rigs, try new animation techniques, and model the next video game. This is an all-level, open workshop for devotees. Prepare to cut loose and get messy. This hands-on workshop will introduce you to some of the most innovative collage artists and their techniques while you explore a variety of 2-D and 3-D materials to make personal, meaningful art. Each week we’ll explore a different method, set of materials and techniques. In addition to the materials supplied, students are encouraged to use their own letters, personal photos and scrap in their work. Materials for this class will be made available for pick-up.
